Sleepless in Turkey

Seeped in history, some great food, incomparable hospitality, mountains to beaches and the great city of Istanbul…Turkey needs no introduction really.
It’s a heady mix of the exotic and the familiar – with influences from the Middle East, the Mediterranean, the Balkans and Central Asia

While 10 days is not nearly enough to see the entire country – our itinerary does cover some of the major highlights – Istanbul, Ephesus, Pamukalle and Cappadocia.
And while we cover all the major sights in these places, at the same time we do not believe in just going from sight to sight in rapid succession – our itinerary also allows you to just “be” and have some time to soak in each place that you visit

Turkey has become a major tourist attraction over the years and hotels, tours etc have all developed to cater to that.
We hate the large “package tourist”, characterless hotels and buffet meals – of which Turkey has plenty.
I have personally picked some of the better properties for our holiday
In Istanbul you stay in a charming hotel in the heart of all the activity, and a beautiful cave hotel in Uchisar at Cappadocia
Most meals are included, some aren’t – so we don’t end up eating just large buffet style meals that all taste the same – and you get the option of trying what you want (and frankly it’s cheaper this way)

We are covering all the sites and some very off beat ones as well that are not covered in most itineraries

Come with us for an unforgettable holiday in this unforgettable destination.

Post lunch – we walk through the old cobbled streets down to Rustem Pasha Mosque, designed by Mimar Sinan in 1561, and then the Spice Market, where Genoese and Venetian goods were sold at a time when there was no Suez Canal, and all the spices from the East were also brought here after being loaded on vessels in Egypt.
